Latin American Art Song Catalog
Introduction
The purpose of this web-site is to serve as a resource for voice teachers and students who seek to
include Latin American songs in their repertoire. Only vocal works with piano accompaniment are
listed. Research for this catalog took place at the Latin American Music Center at Catholic University,
the Benjamin T. Rome School of Music Library at Catholic University as well as other venues.
The task of finding Latin American songs and information regarding the songs and composers can be
daunting. Several sources are often necessary to locate works and to find the key appropriate for the
voice. This web-site has therefore been designed to place this information at your finger-tips. I hope that
this catalog will open up new and exciting opportunities for singers and voice teachers to explore the
beauty that I have found in the songs of Latin America.
